Join award-winning writer Jason Parkes for a playful pop-up poetry workshop exploring the wild side of words at Belfast Zoo.
Our newest (and most curious) visitor isn’t an animal - he’s a writer with a big imagination and lots of questions. What do our animals think about? What do they dream of? And what do they get up to when no one’s watching?
Jason will be on hand to chat with visitors, create spontaneous animal poems and invite you to help him put wild words on paper. Whether you’re a budding poet or just stopping by, come along and say hello.
Workshops will take place from 2pm to 3pm at the Farm and 3.30pm to 4.30pm at the Lion Lookout.
This is a free drop-in workshop, but standard admission charges apply.
