On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December, and Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December, visitors can come to enjoy our festive feeding times as Santa will be treating the animals to Christmas gifts such as wrapped boxes, crackers and stockings. Santa will be feeding the animals at selected dates and times (the schedule of feeding times is to be confirmed).
Pose for a special festive family photo with Santa at the Lion’s Den Café, and take home a photo to treasure forever*. The festive photo is available on Saturday 10, Sunday 11, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December. A photo will cost £12 and we recommend booking in advance, along with your zoo ticket. While you’re at the café, your little monkeys can colour in and write letters to Santa while you treat yourself to a winter warmer, and then you can pop into our Education Centre to enjoy making some Christmas crafts that you can take home.
Children can then explore our beautiful 55-acre site by taking part in our Christmas Trail and be in with the chance of winning a ‘zooper’ goodie bag.
Make sure to swing by the gorilla house and see if you can spot Kofi, our baby western lowland gorilla who celebrated his first birthday in October.
We are open from 10am to 4pm with last admission at 2.30pm. We recommend booking online.
