Ability Café is roaring to go at the Lion’s Den this summer

The Ability Café at Lion’s Den is stocked and ‘roaring’ to go for a busy summer season at the zoo with a fantastic range of hot and cold meals on the menu.

Hungry little bears will enjoy hot meals including locally-sourced burgers and sausages, pizza slices, kids’ meal deals, a full salad bar and range of ice lollies, at affordable prices.

Ability Café has provided a takeaway service at the zoo’s Treetop Tearooms during the year. Zoo visitors have given excellent feedback on the quality and value of food.

Ability Café is a social enterprise run by Usel. They operate several cafés across Northern Ireland, providing training and employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

The Ability Café at Lion’s Den will be open every day from 10am until 6pm.

Belfast Zoo is open seven days a week from 10am until 6pm. All zoo tickets must be bought online.
